Wing Commander I - with DosBox 0.60
You can now play Wing Commander I on a modern PC in WinXP, Win98, even Linux and BeOS using a normal speed setting and without the need of a Sound Blaster 16 and/or conflicts with IRQ.
There are 2 guides for Wing Commander I in DosBox 0.60. A floppy version and a CD version. The CD version comes from a WC1 and WC2 dual packages. It *may* be different for the WC1 CD in a single package or maybe not.
The package include a pdf file with screenshots and descriptions of how to install the game and how to make it work in DosBox.
NOTE: I forgot that when you copy the data from the CD to your Hard Drive, some peoples have problems installing the game. Just select all the DISK.* files (DISK.001, DISK.002, DISK.003), right-click, select properties and uncheck the Read-Only check box. You can also do this for all the files. (Special Thanks to Hicks for this.)
